JRO recently led a community visioning effort for Hopkinsville-Christian County, KY, located just north of Nashville, TN. Using input from thousands of people, JRO worked with a local Task Force to create long-range vision and action plan that celebrates, integrates and advances the county’s agricultural heritage, urban centers and emerging socioeconomic opportunities. In the spirit of our continuing effort to pioneer new and effective ways to increase public engagement, we held idea generation sessions far and wide: churches, subsidized housing, schools, farms, breweries and distilleries, and beyond. It worked.
